CIS Life

CIS Students are Critical thinkers, effective communicators, active learner’s community contributors. They are of high characters with high morals who possess a global outlook and have a full respect for the National Arab, Islam heritage as well as to other religions and cultures.

Field Trips

CIS organizes field trips twice a year, one field trip in each semester, as extra or co-curricular activities and for reasons of liability, parental permission in writing must be granted before students will be allowed to participate. School age children who are not in class for which the field trip is scheduled are ineligible to participate in field trip events or to ride the activity bus during the regular school day.

Students who consistently demonstrate problems with scheduled field trips will not be allowed to go with the school or accompany their classmates. They will be given an alternative day’s assignment in another teacher’s class during the trip.

Community Service

“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
― Winston S. Churchill

“Happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give.”
― Ben Carson

Education is not just about teaching and assessment; giving back to the community is part of our educational duty as a school.

From there, our administrators and teachers in the high school ensure organizing school activities and field trips that would ensure the importance of giving back as part of the educational and academic life of students.

Students Clubs

In these clubs, students develop their skills, make friendships, and learn through fun. Secondary school has many student clubs that run annually

1- Roots and Shoots Club:

The program builds on the legacy and vision of Dr. Jane Goodall to place the power and resources for creating practical solutions to big challenges in the hands of the young people.

2- Reading and Writing Club.

It aims at encouraging students to read more and to enhance their writing skills.
